The objective was to advance my artistic practice of composition for augmented reality, which I have been pursuing since 2013. This practice involves integrating the "classical" instrument and the instrumentalist as a human body into 3D sound projection. This concert installation, featuring a Paetzold subcontrabass flute, IKO, and a 6-meter subwoofer tower, composes “hybrid” sounds that are neither electronic playbacks nor instrumental accompaniment, but rather sculptural sound formations existing on the precipice between conventional notions of the "real" and the "virtual." The aim is to seamlessly dissolve these distinctions through music. The audience is encouraged to freely move within the space to experience the different overlays and sound centers, and to relate their own bodies to the concert setup.
