Sept. 2021 – at spaes LAB Berlin gksh reviewed several 3D audio works for the competition.
With the sudden “explosion” of so-called spatial audio in marketing, media and industry this year’s applications were highly interesting to experience at Funkhaus Berlin with the 24.1 Ambisoncs half-sphere at The Lab for Spatial Aesthetics in Sound Berlin (spaes). The quality of the pieces was high and the variety of approaches was surprisingly different from what we have to experience in cinema, VR and on Netflix at the moment.
